    Create a load test

    Take a test you already trust and run hundreds of copies of it at once

    Steps

    1. Start from Load Tests

      Load Tests is its own top-level section, separate from Testing. The Dashboard's Load Test quick action drops you at the same place.

    2. Open Create Load Test

    3. Understand the page before you fill it in

    4. Pick the test config to run under load

      You cannot write a new test here. If the test you want doesn't exist yet, build and verify it on Test Config first, then come back.

    5. Check you picked the right one

    6. Set duration, call length and ceiling

      Time Points adds or removes handles on the curve below. More points means finer control over the shape; fewer means a smoother, simpler ramp.

    7. Drag the curve into the shape you want

      A gentle ramp finds the point where things start to degrade. A near-vertical step tests what happens to a system with no warning at all. Both are valid — they answer different questions.

    8. Read the estimate before you commit

      Flattening one point in the ramp took this profile from 525 tests to 485, and the estimate from $17.99 to $16.65. The numbers are a reference rate against your subscription, not a quote.

    9. Save the config — and know what the other button does

      There is no 'are you sure' between Save & Run and hundreds of real phone calls. If you only want the config on file, Save Config is the button. You can always run it later from the configs list.

    10. Find it on Load Test Config

      Because names are auto-generated they all look alike; the profile chips and the created date are what actually tell two rows apart. Treat the Run button here with the same care as Save & Run.
